Application of Mathematical Models in Clean Energy Production and Environmental Conservation: Case of Briquettes Making from Agro-Waste Products
Asaph Keikara Muhumuza
Context
Uganda faces environmental degradation due to reliance on charcoal and firewood. Agro-waste, often discarded, can be transformed into briquettes. Mathematical modeling offers a way to optimize production, making briquettes more viable and sustainable, while reducing deforestation and greenhouse gas emissions.
